Saigon Children’s Charity CIO (saigonchildren) is a non-profit organization which works to bring a brighter future to disadvantaged and vulnerable children in Vietnam. It was set up in 1992, and its aim is to help disadvantaged children get a quality education and a fairer start in life. The organization works across Vietnam to overcome barriers to education for children. There are four main charitable projects. ICE BUCKET CHALLENGE

The Ice Bucket Challenge is a campaign to promote awareness of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) – also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease – and raise funds for research. World’s Biggest Coffee Morning is Macmillan Cancer Support’s biggest fundraising event. Each year, people all over the UK and worldwide host their own coffee morning. Coffee mornings can be held in homes, workplaces or schools. The first official event took place in 1990 with a simple idea: some people came together for a cup of coffee and a slide of cake, and made a donation to the organization to help support people living with cancer.
